Camping, many others as well, 100s

Grand Marais MN Lake Superior

From tents on ground to luxury condos on Wheels

Basic shelter to opulence

A broad stroke of

economic age ability

stratification

quite mixed

Driven by a common desire?

To commune with our Earth?

The most ancient stirrings from ?? soul- mind - our very substance.

Do our various futile attempts feed this hunger - What is this hunger?

This situation - this small amassing

would indicate that some amount of satisfaction is

accomplished in each manifestation.

Is there a difference,

qualitative quantitative substantive

And the breadth,

a day, week,

in retirement,

a whole life

culture - All of Us

Camping as a pastime

Counter culture - a get away

has evolved, become a hunger

in direct proportion to what we

may call -

Civilization

Modern

Sophisticated

Hmmm - Why?

Our Roots

(All of Earth)

Could be couched in the idea of

The Rustic Life

It is woven into the very fiber of WE

Coded into the DNA of Life

The Confusion?

A Current Dilemma

For, until recently

We did [Belong]

For most of us

there was not even

the option to

imagine differently

what we now

hunger - die for

[is] to belong

to relate [To: cause, religion, ideal]

This once was

a mandate for us

without another

we would not be

It still is not possible

for a person

to do

all the things

in order that we might

have a life

let alone human relationship

So I ask you

do you want to live

this isolated

an unknown life

eating food

grown

prepared for you by

unknowns

live decisions

made for you by

unknowns

without your regard

sent to battle

for unknown purpose

unwanted division

send Children to school

to be filled

with facts - values by

unknowns

It's Our Bodies

It’s Our Bodies

Essentially we come in two body types,

Two sexes,

and in a variety of age transitions.

We all need to eat

We all need to clean these bodies

We all pee and defecate

We all need to manage these bodies (within the above variables)

The Same Way.

So why the big secrets?

Why the embarrassment?

Why the shame?

We all know someone ‘Shamed’,

perhaps our self.

And WE All know,

inside these bodies

that

This Shame,

this Isolation,

Is NOT good,

Not Correct!

Surely clothing -

Our Toilet

are

Practical

Warmth

Comfort

Hygiene

perhaps ADORNment..…

But - but, our butts -

Our bodies

All of us  …..

is -

Well  -

ME

Why do I / WE shame -

Why do I / WE feel shame?

What if the energy

that

I  /  WE

use to manage,

to protect this shame,

to shame others,

Were to be put to Other Uses.

We are in need of much Loving

Ourselves -

Each Other

In Our Families,

Communities

All of Us -

Globally

If this Love Energy

were accessible

What direction

would we see in -

Environment  

Society

Relationship

Spirituality

END The Lying

We got a PROBLEM

WE Bully

Grandma says

Be Kind

WE Blame

Spiritual Practice says

We Love

WE Hate

we cheat

WE LIE

Whats

Going On Here

How Much

do we Want

to END

Humanity ???

How Much

do we HATE

our children

our Mom

People

Look around you

at the neighbors

at our communities

see the flowers

the birds, the bugs

Our lives

our culture

What purpose

The food we

cultivate and prepare

voluminous

Nutritious -

Delectable

??? or

just a motion

just a reason to

shit ...

We Humans will step

up to the challenge

at the 11th hour

that We are

Good at

meeting the crisis

when That time

has come

Well this crisis

is like none other

in our experiences

and

The 11th hour

is well upon us -

NO Action Yet

So much for that

idea

Perhaps the reason that we

Are not Seeing

this aforementioned problem

Is that

WE

Are Our OWN Crisis

And that

the problem

is actually

that we are NOT

responding to it

And the IT

is that we

have not

cleaned up our room

Not for along time now

Maybe never ……

Sounds like an issue

between

Mom and Child
